Once installed, we will retest your building using the same In-Building Walk Test Analytics to make sure we got it right.  Once satisfied that all problems areas have been corrected, you will receive a VAST Certified Certificate for verifiable proof that you have reliable in-building wireless signal strength and quality.

Every VAST DAS Certified project starts with our state-of-the-art VAST DAS Certified In-Building Walk Test. Performing a thorough in-building walk test helps us to identify weak coverage areas. Using this information we are able to design a custom solution so you don't pay for unnecessary coverage in areas that don't need it.

Nationwide Coverage Enhancement and In-Building Solutions


FirstNet wireless coverage reaches more than 99 percent of Americans. When the network is fully built out, it will extend coverage to 2.74 million square miles, covering 76.2 percent of the continental United States and the District of Columbia.


The FirstNet build is being carried out with direct feedback from state and public safety officials. Sites are constructed using the FirstNet Band 14 spectrum, as well as other spectrum bands in the AT&T commercial spectrum portfolio. The FirstNet network is based on a unique hybrid of shared AT&T and dedicated FirstNet assets, supported by billions of dollars invested in people, processes, systems, and equipment designed to provide customers with the first nationwide, public safety grade LTE network.


Coverage gaps between towers may cause signal loss while large concrete and steel structures often limit indoor cellular coverage. To alleviate these limitations, FirstNet uses Mobile and Fixed Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) for vehicles, large public venues and buildings across the United States. FirstNet DAS delivers enhanced connectivity, capacity, and coverage where an unassisted network signal would typically not reach. The LTE DAS will support First Priority® and will provide full access to the FirstNet network. This network “densification” provides added security and safety for citizens and first responders alike.

Cel-Fi is a member of the Safer Buildings Coalition, which is an independent organization that’s focused on advancing policies, ideas, and technologies that ensure effective in-building communications capabilities for public safety personnel and the people they serve.

FirstNet is a new network being rolled out for Public Safety Communication Devices. This high-speed, nationwide wireless broadband network will have dedicated bands for public safety agencies and first responders. Legacy equipment does not support FirstNet dedicated band.

Emergency communications from police, fire, and medical personnel are critical. The majority of cellular phone calls take place inside, but cell networks are outside. 80% of users inside complain of poor coverage or dropped calls. A building’s materials, while improving energy efficiency, will block or inhibit cellular service from the outside network. To exacerbate the issue, cellular coverage is increasingly not optional. Municipalities and government buildings need a high-quality FirstNet solution that can serve the middleprise and not take a year to deploy.
